Demon Bluff

Demon Bluff Rambler Guide

The quick answer

For a truthful Rambler, adjacent characters that count as Truthful can tell the Rambler to shut up in place of their usual information. A card that counts as Truthful can still be evil.

Steam Demo case and v0.752a Confessor interaction.

Check the two neighbors

When a neighbor tells the Rambler to shut up, read it as a clue about how that card’s information is treated. Check which cards are adjacent and whether they normally give information before drawing conclusions.

A disguised Confessor

In one village, #1 was the Rambler. The Empress at #8 and a Chancellor disguised as Confessor at #2 both told #1 to shut up. The v0.752a patch says Confessor should count as Truthful for this interaction, even when Corrupted. That explains how the evil Chancellor could produce the same response as the Empress.
